Welcome to the Women’s Council of the Home Builders Association of Livingston County’s web site. We invite you to explore our site, browse the WC Online newsletter, and then join a dynamic group of professional women who work in the building and remodeling industry.
In 1998 a few pioneer female members of the Home Builder’s Association started a Livingston County chapter of the National Association’s Women’s Council. The Council provides support to the home builders association as a whole, and provides opportunities for women to network and support each other in a professional business format.
Since its start the Council has grown to over sixty members, even winning a national award for membership growth and retention. Members include professional women in diverse professions in the industry, from builders to bankers, printers to designers. Our members get an outstanding value for their participation, reaping the rewards of education, social, charitable and community involvement. The Women’s Council of the HBALC is an integral part of the general membership and welcomes new members at any time.
